The small universal length measuring device KLM 120 is a precision measuring unit for external and internal measurements with a measuring range of up to 160 mm. The measuring system used is based on a quartz glass measure with extremely low expansion.

- The applied measuring system of the x-axis is based on quartz glass with infinitesimal coefficient of expansion.
